HISTORY

This ideal has enthused Mr. Nelson D. Mendoza, Founder, president & CEO of CSTC Computer Systems Technological College Incorporated, to take passion in establishing an educational institution that would cater to the need of aspiring students and would-be technocrats and service people.

CSTC’s humble beginnings trace back on January 7, 1991 when it inaugurated its first campus in Sta. Rosa, Laguna. The pioneering years were quite tough yet promising. After two years, a new branch was opened in Atimonan, Quezon. The plan was timely enough to absorb hundreds of high school graduates who were financially distressed over the increasing high cost of college education. On the premise of providing low-cost education without sacrificing quality, CSTC has flourished as an outstanding technical institution in Quezon, and later in the Calabarzon Region.

In 1996, a wise idea sprung up — to open a CSTC branch right in the heart of the owner’s hometown in Sariaya, Quezon. This immediately gave birth to a new batch of students. The following year, the academic community increased in number and expanded into three different courses. The unprecedented growth of CSTC has granted recognition and support.

On July 7, 1997 CSTC tasted the first grand victory when the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) under the office of the president issued permit to CSTC Computer Systems Technological College Inc., and officially registered under the Unified TVET Program Registration Accreditation System (UTPRAS) as a WET provider.

Since then, CSTC Computer Systems Technological College Inc., continues to move forward and farther at a pace enough to be at the forefront of the technical vocational education development and progress.

Later, the demand for offering degree programs inevitably arises as a result of countless unsolicited requests from various people who have witnessed the growth and development of school. This persistent clamor motivated by CSTC’s positive growth and enriching environment based on modern conceptual learning has compelled the CSTC President/Administrator to apply the school for Higher Education. At present, application is undergoing with the earnest desire and hopes that CSTC could be given the opportunity to provide higher levels of academic and professional education.
